DEFINITION |

DECLASSE (Decommission) |
Equipment that is no longer intended for use but remains under MSF's responsibility. It is no longer considered operational. It is stored in a dedicated area under the responsibility of the area supervisor. It is isolated before being removed from the stock. |

OUT |
Equipment that is no longer the property of or under the responsibility of MSF, or that is no longer identifiable as equipment. It is no longer physically located on MSF premises. |

DESTRUCTION |
The equipment is treated as waste and stored in a waste area OR it has been destroyed (internally or externally) OR it can no longer be considered equipment because it has been dismantled for spare parts. |

DONATION |
The equipment is usable and will be donated to an institutional partner or MSF staff during a tombola. |
|
SALE |
The equipment is usable and has been sold to an institutional partner or an identified legal entity. |
|
LOSS |
The equipment was usable but was not found following an inventory check. The investigation was unsuccessful. |
|
STOLEN |
The equipment was usable but was stolen. An incident report has been created. |
|
LOAN |
The equipment is usable and has been loaned for an extended period to a non-MSF partner, OCP. |
|
RETURN |
The equipment is usable and has been returned to its original owner (if on loan) or sent back to HQ (following after-sales service). |
